In the Running...
Meet Kyo, a mouthy husky mix with the softest heart and the biggest personality. He’s equally happy zooming around outside with his little brother, Murphy, or curling up for a long, cozy nap. Beach days are his love language, especially when there’s a ball involved. Kyo adores all humans and will politely (but persistently) use his husky vocals if he feels he’s not getting enough attention. He’s a professional car-ride enthusiast, with a special fondness for riding the trails in the back of his dad’s pickup truck—ears flapping, living his best life. His two different-colored eyes are his secret weapon for stealing hearts wherever he goes. And when it comes to dining out, Kyo’s favorite spot is Shaggy’s on Pensacola Beach, where he’s always ready to soak up the vibes and the love. 🐾💙

Hi everyone, meet Charley “Murphy”—yes, that Murphy. Blame my dad for the name, but I fully committed to it. If Murphy’s my name, then Murphy’s Law is my lifestyle. I’m a black/chocolate lab mix, lovingly referred to by my mom as her “labradork.” I won’t confirm or deny the accuracy of that title… but I do have a talent for finding myself in the most interesting situations, which sometimes end in surprise visits to one of my favorite places—the vet.
I love all car rides, but my favorite thing in the entire world is playing ball. I will play until my legs barely work and I still refuse to quit. Water is my happy place (classic lab behavior), and beach days with my family are the absolute best—especially when I get to charge into the waves to retrieve my ball.
I may be a goofy boy, but I’m definitely a mama’s boy. Every once in a while, when I’m “sick,” she lets me snuggle in bed, and I feel like I’ve reached the promised land. (Sometimes I might fake it… just saying.) My brother Kyo is my best friend, and our favorite game is tug-of-war—complete with WWE-level sound effects. I’m also a fan of Shaggy’s, just like Kyo, but honestly? I’m a fan of any food, anywhere, anytime. 🐶🥎🌊

Hi. I’m Josie Kaye White. I was born January 7, 2025, so I just celebrated my 1st birthday!
I'm a “miniature” Goldendoodle, which is adorable because nothing about my personality is small. I operate at the energy level of a caffeinated squirrel and bring that enthusiasm to every situation—especially the unnecessary ones.
When I arrived home, I learned I had a very little big sister, Riley. We're like the humans in the movie, Twins, except the furry version. Riley was surprised - and not in the good way - when I showed up to share her bed, treats, toys and mom, but when I nudged our way into sleeping in the human bed every night, I won her over and now we're besties. Except when I try to play by putting her entire head in my mouth.
I may lack skill, restraint, and impulse control—but I make up for it with heart, cuddles, loving licks and very literal puppy-dog eyes.

LilyRose came bursting into our family with her wild child personality in May of 2023, from APOH rescue! She is always happy, and ready for the next adventure. She's a shoe bandit, and has lots of nicknames, including Spicy Taco! Her favorite things to do are play with her stuffy bone toy, and zoomie in the backyard!

Meet Lilly – CEO of Our House 🐾
Lilly is a proud (and slightly bossy) West Highland Terrier who was named after her great-grandmother — a classy name for a very fluffy diva. While technically this is OUR home, Lilly would like to clarify that we simply live here and pay the mortgage.
She is spoiled absolutely rotten and has no apologies about it. Her favorite hobbies include intense squirrel surveillance in the backyard, professional ball retrieval with her POP, and neighborhood walks where she graciously allows us to accompany her.
Lilly spent her first year sharing a crate with her loyal companion Bogey, who we lovingly said goodbye to in December at 16 years old. Since then, Lilly has bravely stepped into her new role… as full-time Bed Supervisor. After several months of careful negotiation, she has officially upgraded herself to sleeping in the big bed — right where she believes she belongs.
She may be small, but she runs a tight ship, gives the best Westie side-eye in the business, and fills our home with love (and a little bit of attitude).

Sarge aka #SargeInCharge rules our roost. He is a noisy, pooping mess, but we adore him. He is just 4 years old and plans to outlive us all. (Macaws typically live to 70 plus years.) He tolerates his humans and his actual furry siblings, but we all know who runs this joint. He loves Sesame Street and Walnuts. He loves the ladies and most children. He once told a child to "Shut the Front Door" but in other words. haha! He whistles and says "Hi chicken" when anyone walks in the house. He is our sweetest boy.

Shangie is a long-haired Chihuahua-Papillon mix who is four years old as of February 9th. She is a sweet baby who loves everyone especially kids. Shangie is always ready for a treat or pup cup and loves walks in the park, traveling, and lazy Sundays with her parents.
Shangie is very playful and energetic when she is not enjoying long naps or playing with every toy she owns in the house. She is a joy to be around and has a heart for people.

Meet Dotty, a 5-year-old English Bulldog with a big personality and an even bigger love for snuggles! Dotty got her name from the adorable little dot on the top of her head that makes her extra unique. When she’s not soaking up belly rubs or cuddling with her favorite humans, she’s eagerly waiting to hear the magic words: “Want to go bye-bye?” Dotty absolutely loves car rides and doesn’t care where she’s going—as long as she’s going somewhere! Like any good bulldog, she never says no to treats and has perfected the art of looking extra cute to earn them. With her sweet nature, love for adventure, and champion-level snuggling skills, Dotty brings joy to everyone she meets.
